When raw gold is discovered deep in the woods, a group of gold hunters lead by Dong-Geun arrive to mine it. Several neighbors in the area witness, by chance, the hunters arguing with the old lady who owns the land and her falling over a cliff. Among the witnesses who are now also in danger, hunter Ki-Sung, who has suffered from the aftereffects of a coal mine incident, risks his life to protect the others and engages the gold hunters in a cat-and-mouse game of death.
