Because of a traffic accident, the lives of slovenly taxi driver Fat and pregnant domestic goddess Ching have become entangled forever, as his soul entered her body, making her a 'scruffy mum' since then. While everyone else, including Fat's mum Nga, good friend 'Papa', cancer fighter/pregnant woman Ka Ning and garage worker Harry, cannot tell the difference, his alienated, paranormal-sensitive daughter Rene is able to see his soul.
