A graduate student in the Archaeology Department at Qin Chuan University, Fang Kun assists in the recovery of cultural relics lost overseas. He discovers that an unknown tomb in Yincun, Bailuyuan, might be the Ziling Tomb of Emperor Taizong of the Han Dynasty. His mentor, Zhan Mao Chang, takes him to Bailuyuan for an on-site investigation, but he unexpectedly loses his life.
